Who We Are

A brief summary about the guest house and history

Fuleng Guest house is a hospitality establishment nestled in the heart of the Quthing district in Lesotho.

It is a family run business which was founded in 1998 by the late Ms  Mabafula Phakisi, she then sadly passed on  in 2002 and the business was then co-owned  by her two surviving children Mr Bafula and  Dr Selloane Phakisi. Quthing has always attracted an influx of tourism, but it lacked affordable, high-standard accommodation, this was the conception of Fuleng.. For decades, we have provided our many satisfied customers with hospitality and conferencing services and our guest house has become a mainstay in the district.

The business was further developed and run by the two siblings who Did an immaculate job in advancing and enhancing the establishment to what it is today. Mr Bafula Phakisi sadly passed on in August 2023 and since then the business has been run by his sister Dr Selloane Phakisi

Fuleng is an  elegant guest house with spacious and comfortable rooms which all have Wi-Fi and DSTV.

It does not only offer spectacular accommodation but also compromises of a Restaurant, a bar , spacious conferencing and events  facilities.

Moreover, the guest house has created job opportunities for  over 20 employees who are from the quthing community. It also offers a helping hand to the Quthing district through community upliftment programs and is  also involved in various corporate social investment opportunities such as donations to the SOS Children’s home , as well as own and fund a local soccer team which was founded by Mr Bafula Phakisi.
